How to Install Border Tiles
Your ceiling will likely include spaces that are smaller than a full-size tile, which are typically found around the room's perimeter. Tiles with large patterns that feature intricate three-dimensional designs can appear visually unbalanced when cut and placed against walls. In situations like these, we recommended using tiles with smaller patterns that feature less intricate designs around the room's perimeter.
Tiles with smaller patterns have less overall pattern depth, making them easier to trim and install in these perimeter border areas. To install "border" tiles, measure from the edge of the installed tiles to the wall. Then, cut the border tiles to size using scissors or snips. Affix the trimmed border tiles to your ceiling with the cut edges facing the wall.
